Who can use StayFix?+
Short-stay hosts, rental owners, homeowners and body corporate or strata representatives can all submit a request during the pilot.
Is StayFix an emergency service?+
Not during the pilot. For fire, gas, electrical danger, flooding or threats to safety, contact the appropriate emergency service or licensed emergency contractor directly.
Will I definitely receive three quotes?+
We may invite up to five suitable local businesses in stages, but close the opportunity once three quote places fill. Availability, location and timing may mean fewer respond, and some jobs require an inspection before a firm quote.
How are local businesses shortlisted?+
Job and licence fit come first, followed by service area, availability, business verification and public reputation—including recent Google ratings and review volume where available. StayFix is not affiliated with Google, and search position alone does not determine an invitation.
Who performs the work?+
Independent local businesses provide and contract for the work. StayFix introduces the parties and helps structure the request; it does not perform the maintenance itself.
Is this affiliated with Airbnb?+
